Thanksgiving Tree Cutting

Hi family here there and everywhere!
While we were having our customary good time together cutting trees this past Thanksgiving weekend (and musing about if Rachel and Zak would have a tree, where in Arizona Lauren would find a place to cut her own tree - but not doubting her for a moment - and wondering if Courtney would be "traditional" in the Van Vliet way and cut a tree herself or start a different Cooke family tradition - see, we DO talk about you all the time!), we decided to start our OWN Bay Area family blog and let you know, mostly by pictures, what is going on here. That is to say, we hope to make you so jealous of all the fun you are missing that you will get yourselves in gear, hop in the car and come over to see us more often. We miss and love you all! 1. Yay for a blog!

We've tried for years now to find a good source for cutting our own tree. I may have found one, but this year with all 4 it just didn't seem to be the way to go. Hopefully next year! Looks like fun!

  2. Yay! We were going to go to the one place in town, but saw how expensive they are. So we ended up getting a nice, small one from RiteAid. Hey, it's still a real tree & that's all the matters to us poor newlyweds!

  3. Kim, I think you read my mind! Just the other day I was wondering what was going on with all of you and I was think ing how convenient it would be if you all just had a blog. Keep it updated! We have no clue what we're doing for a tree, probably something similar to Rachel. And we'll have the same justification, at least it's a real tree!
